Saturday, May 22nd - Overwaitea Parking Lot
The Grand Forks ATV Club is setting up in the
Overwaitea parking lot downtown Grand Forks. Great chance to get information
about equipment, local trails and ATVing in general.
Come find out what the ATV Club is all about.
Memberships will be available, $60 per person and
there are options for a second rider and family.
- 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. -
ATVBC Goodwill/information trailer manned by a
director of ATVBC, will be open for viewing.
Plus safety demonstrations re ATV operation.
- 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. - BBQ: hamburgers,
hot dogs, refreshments and other snacks
available.
- 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. - Displays by local
merchants of items related to ATVing and the
outdoors.
- 11:00 a.m. to mid afternoon -
The club will be hosting a ride in the Gilpin
Grasslands area. Meet in the Overwaitea parking
lot downtown Grand Forks. Some machines have 'two up
seats' and can take a passenger interested in
ATVing. Some members of the
club are very knowledgeable about
trails in the area.

Saturday Night - Seniors
Hall in City Park
- 8:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. - DANCE & 50/50 DRAW
- B&W music will supply the entertainment.
- admission $10.00 per person
- bring your own refreshments and table snacks
- beer and wine only (B.C.L.C.B.)

Sunday May 23rd
- 7:00 pm to 11:00 p.m. - PANCAKE BREAKFAST! - Hosted by
Grand Forks Elks Lodge #493, the club will be assisting in
the pancake breakfast held in the Overwaitea parking lot.
Support both groups and fuel up
for a day of riding.
- 9:30 am - mid afternoon - ATV RIDE! - After
breakfast, join the Grand Forks ATV Club in
exploring the Sand Creek area. There should be
some opportunity for those interested in trying
ATVing to hitch a ride as a passenger.

Monday May 24th
- 9:00 am - mid afternoon -
ATV RIDE! - The Grand Forks ATV Club will be
hosting a ride in the area, perhaps a little
shorter to allow those coming in from out of
town a chance to drive home in the late
afternoon. There should be some opportunity for
those interested in trying ATVing to hitch a
ride as a passenger.

Camping
- East of Grand Forks is the Riviera Campground. It's
right on hwy 3 and borders the
Kettle River. It's a beautiful spot with lots of
room for vehicles and trailers. The campground
features new washrooms with showers, Laundromat
and internet.
- Campfires are allowed and there is wood available
or you can bring your own.
- The cost is $20 for no hookups and $27 for full
hookup.
